So I was working at this hotel today and walking around the back areas when I decided to peak in to one of the conference rooms… And well, Jordan Belfort was giving a humorous speech there. What a character.

True, it does sound a softer kind of death. I was imagining more like an in-the-middle-of-the-ocean-with-no-one-to-help kind of drowning though. Anyway, just the thought of not being able to breathe scares the hell out of me.

If I had another choice though, I’d go with just falling asleep and never waking up again. But that’s probably the kind of death that most people wish for, isn’t it?

With drowning, I believe, there’s more panicking or desperation or whatever, as you know there’s oxygen right above you somewhere but your lungs fill up with water before you can reach it. Unless, of course, someone is trying to kill you and has locked you in a water tank with no way out. (Edit: would be even worse actually)

I have heard though that during drowning all the great moments in life flash in front of one’s eyes but I’d rather stay skeptical about it.
